It's fucking Mos Def) Grizzly Bear- Veckatimest (One of the best albums of the year, hands down. Radiohead without the terrible vocals and lyrical drivel) Dirty Projectors- Bitte Orca (A wonderful album, really beautiful and charming) Animal Collective- Animal Crack Box, Rough Trade Mix (Both are extraneous.Crack Box is a bunch of live stuff, however RTM is a group of hand-selected artists that influences AC.really good stuff) Bat For Lashes- Two Suns (Folk music, electronic, atmospheric. More relaxed shoegaze from these fellers) Neon Indian- Psychic Chasms EP (Dance music with charm from a relatively unknown source. Looking forward to future releases) Ponytail- Ice Cream Spiritual (Noise pop, similar to Deerhoof in the vocals. A Japanese girl freaks out, a band behind her plays tunes reminiscent of Lightning Bolt) Sonic Youth- The Eternal (Not their best album, but some awesome songs are on here. If you don't listen to Sonic Youth.) Teenage Cool Kids- Foreign Lands (Built to Spill worshippers who do enough to create their own lo-fi cute sound) Woods- Songs of Shame (psych-folk, the name of the band is perfectly placed. You feel like you're camping out stoned) Women- Women (dirty lo-fi, Liars with a shorter attention-span) just type it in google with mediafire and away we go.
